MeetComp - In-house Pricing/Rebate Management System
The MeetComp system is a comprehensive ecosystem composed of three cohesive web applications: Deal Registration, MeetComp Management, and Rebate Management.
Executive Summary
The MeetComp system is designed for internal deal, pricing, and rebate management within the company. It streamlines the process of pricing support applications, approval workflows, and backend rebate claims with external suppliers. The system is now fully operational, efficiently managing a tremendous volume of daily transactions and handling global requests across different company branches.
My main involvements
While I am not part of the company’s software department, my role in the development of this in-house tool was as a tester and feature identifier, given that it was specifically designed for the product line managed by my team. I created flowcharts, consolidated feature requirements, and hosted demand analysis meetings with the software team to ensure they fully understood our requests and workflows.
I conducted multiple QA functions during the Beta version of the system, including boundary value testing, A/B testing, concurrency testing, performance testing, and more. Additionally, I compiled a detailed testing report that included user feedback, error reproduction, and improvement suggestions for the development team.
Throughout the entire product development cycle, I took on the dual role of Software PM and QA, ensuring the tool met our requirements and was delivered with high quality.

Successfully launched and implemented the system company-wide, and continue to monitor and optimize it to this day.
